Voici le message qu'Anita De Jonghe a reçu ce jour des enfants de Christine.
"On Friday our beloved Granny, Mother, sister and friend passed away. Born in India in 1944 to British and American parents, Christine called many places around the world home. She lived in England, Belgium, Corsica, the Congo, Houston, Dubai for many years, and most recently New Zealand. She also spoke numerous languages. She married Tony (Grandpa) in 1981 at the British Embassy in Dubai alongside friends and family, including Christine’s children, Guy and Cati. With two children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and more family spread across the world, she will be sorely missed. Sadly, Tony passed away in October last year. We thought we might have had more time with Granny, but that is the bittersweetness of life. Some of my favourite memories include Granny teaching me how to sew and knit, Grandpa doing BBQs and finding fossils with us in the desert, having regular Chinese takeaways, and family Christmases together. Thank you for the kind words and condolences we have received, they are much appreciated. Christine and Tony, we will miss you very much."
Nous aussi Christine, nous nous souviendrons toujours, avec émotion, de toi et de tes frère et soeurs, à qui nous présentons nos très sincères condoléances.
Nous avons eu la joie de la revoir en 2013 lors de notre réunion à Nivelles.
